Hi dolls and gents,
I know its delayed but thought I would offer my opinions on our favorite dolls who graced the 2011 Golden Globes’ Red Carpet.
Top 5 Favorite Dolls
Eva Longoria looked stunning in this fitted dress. She showed the world how to maintain your sexy after a separation. Kudos to her for looking great from head to toe. This Zac Posen fishtail dress is definitely a winner and compliments her body. Her cleavage wasn’t too much. The ribbon accents her waist and helps elongate her legs.
Sofia Vergara is one of the sexiest women on TV. She oozes sex no matter what she does. She is a vivacious vixen and this red number echoes that sentiment. This Vera Wang dress is very intimate with the contours of her body. Displaying her curves to the world, she is definitely a glamorous sex kitten.
Jane Krakowski is glowing from head to toe. This mother-to-be was radiant in this slate blue gown. She looks remarkable. This one shoulder dress by Badgley Mischka is perfect for her growing bump. Plus I love her earrings. Her accessories didn’t overshadow this magnificent dress. Perfectly picking up the gray and blue tones of the slate blue.
Mila Kunis, my favorite black swan, looked sleek and alluring in this emerald green number. This one shoulder dress was spectacular. This stunning gown by Vera Wang was all about the details and texture. The train was a nice touch. The back was spectacular. The dress was just as amazing from the back as it was from the front.
Anne Hathaway was sparkly from head to toe with Swarovski Crystals. From the front this dress is simply chic and not overstated, but when you turn around this low dipped cut out is sexy. Its a subtle yet glamorous gown. Her natural beauty shines through this Giorgio Armani Prive dress.
Honorable Mention: Kyra Sedgwick is beautiful and chic at an awesome 45. I want to look this well when I am her age. Her dress is not that glamorous for the red carpet but she does look great in Emilio Pucci. The mustard color works for her.She is a golden goddess.
Honorable Mention: Amber Riley looks killer in this dress. Not sure how I feel about the bust area but overall she looks amazing in her gown by Oliver Tolentino
Top 5 Dolls who could have done better
Halle Berry is my beautiful idol, but I was just not feeling her choice. I didn’t like the short skirt with a sheer overlay. I just didn’t get it. I could have done with it just as a short cocktail dress. The bodice fit her well. Her makeup was flawless. Lets just say this was not my favorite number by her.
Angelina Jolie looks great in green; however, her dress looked very matronly to me. This was not a good look. She looks rail thin and fuels the eating disorder rumors.
Jennifer Lopez and this white dress was just all the way wrong. White on the carpet is questionable but to add this bedazzled sheer poncho was just horrific. JLo is a hit or miss with no consistency but she teetered on the side of hot mess this evening for me. At least her jewelry was on point.
Michelle Williams looks like she is headed to a fashion show hosted by the local PTA. This daisy print is awful. What stylist told her this was the one? Who told her this dress was red carpet worthy? Think again and try it again.
Tina Fey not ever am I fan of velour. Not velour sweat suits and definitely not a velour dress. I just think I see lint balls that I want to pick off or run my hand over your dress to play with the fabric’s direction. Not hot!
Dolls I thought were average (not that great, but definitely not bad)
Dolls I cant decide if I liked because of the abstract dress concept (but sorta still liked it secretly)
Well that’s my take!
