Hey all! I am so glad to be back and so happy to announce that I am married now. September 2 was such a great day! I don't have our professional pictures yet but have some pictures thanks to my family and friends. So here is my recap....
Let me introduce you to McKenzie, my wedding dress from Eva's Bridal of Tinley Park who provided the best customer service ever, and Vera, my reception dress from David's Bridal. Necklace and studs from Baublebar. Bridal shoe, Sawyer, and reception shoe, Carline, by Kate Spade and bridal flats by Toms. Make-up by Vesna (MAC artist) who rocked it. Everyone looked amazing, and my mom was happy to have those lashes. I really loved those Russian Red lips.
Bridesmaids dresses in claret and tea rose were by Alfred Angelo. Accessories from Forever 21. Bridal party got to pick their own shoes out.
In terms of hair, I wanted my bridesmaids to have a theme. So Kizzy and I decided on a braid theme. I loved it. Thank you Kizzy again! Cut by Liz of Liz's Hair Heaven and day of styled by Kizzy.
I had the best DJ ever. DJ Toure is amazing. Check him out on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, and YouTube.
I loved our musical selections. One of the guests favorite part was my husband's entrance to "We Want Eazy" by Eazy-E. Hilarious right! Only him. My favorite part was of course my entrance to "Turning Page" by Sleeping At Last (remember it from Breaking Dawn), our newlywed introduction as "Pop That" by French Montana played in the background, father daughter dance to "I Really Love You" by Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes (my dad sang throughout the dance), him and his frat strolling to "Bag of Money" by Rick Ross with me in the center after they serenaded me, and me being serenaded by my sorors then strolling to "Pretty Girls" by Wale. Oh and lets not forget him taking my garter off to "Dive In" by Trey Songz or him and his mom dancing to "Gin and Juice" by Snoop. Thanks to my guy Yoni for blessing us with your vocals on "Never Felt This Way."
Our musical playlist:

Groom's Entrance: We Want Eazy (Eazy-Z)
Parents Entrance: Because You Loved Me (Celine Dion)

I loved our cake by the way. Sugar Hills Bakery did a great job!!!!!!!!!! Loved the ombre cake.
Mirage Banquets was a lovely place to have our wedding. Thank you Violeta for a job well done. She was very nice and very accommodating.
Thank you Flowers by Color for the pretty flowers. I really loved my bouquet.
Btw....that photo booth from Magic Moment Photo Booth was a hit. I wish you could see the pictures. HAHAHAHA! We have such naughty friends. LOL! Great idea mom-in-law!
But most of all we would like to thank our parents who have supported us all the way. From the moment I said yes on Feb. 14, 2011 to the day I said I do (Sept 2), you were there, and we really appreciate you. We love you! To everyone in my bridal party, you were awesome and so glad you were there to stand by us. To D.P., thanks for officiating our ceremony. It wouldn't have been right without you. And just so you know my day would not have been complete if my brothers from another mother were not in the wedding nor my nephew who didn't quite make it down the aisle. So glad our godchild could make it and his best friend (that really made his day). Most importantly thank you to Janis and Toya, the best hostess/day of coordinators around. They made sure everything went smoothly. Muah!
P.S. We used our engagement pictures from Crystal Clear Photography-Atlanta for our wishing well and programs.
Here are some photos from the day:
