30 day blog challenge: day 1
Hi dolls and gents,
Day 1 Challenge: Take a picture of yourself and describe how your day was
Today was extremely hot!!!!!! My phone’s app read 99 degrees. Wowzers!!!!!!!
My day started off with a wardrobe crisis. Silly me, I didn’t get up in enough time to iron a skirt or dress so I had to figure out something quickly. Unfortunately, the only thing on hand was a pair of brown trousers. I know what you’re thinking who wears trousers on a 90 degree day. Well me, that’s who! LOL! The good thing about them, they weren’t a straight leg cut so they were actually cool to wear. BTW…I needed a top too. And thanks to my sister, I had a sleeveless top to wear that was cute and wrinkle-free. I put it all together and tadaa, crisis contained.
I got to work and found out it was both an ice cream social and bday celebration today at work. Yippee! Plus, my package from Cambria Cove came. Unfortunately, I had to track down my package, which took a little effort on my part and the admin. When I finally got it, I was so elated because part 1 of my bridesmaids’ gifts came. I saw a funny video of my ls’ little girl, text, blogged, and emailed all day, and boy did the day drag on and on. Finally, it was over and time to face the heat!
And face the heat I did as I stepped out in the heat of the sun. It was so hard to breath in those scorching temps. The bus ride wasn’t too shabby. It was very cool on the #26, but the air on the train was barely blowing. Then there was no air at the train station, and I started perspiring profusely (something I hate doing).I had sweat dripping all over my body just like in the Nelly video. Not a good luck! My hair was sweated out! Yucko! Anywho, I finally got into the AC and was happy!
Now, here I am typing up my challenge, eating leftover Home Run Inn Pizza, and drinking cold water. I must admit that today was a blah day with minimal perks.
