OMG! I freaking loved Reasonable Doubt (Vol. 1). I loved it so much that I read it twice in a 24 hour time frame, and both times, it took me less than a few hours to read it. I definitely couldn’t tell that this was Whitney G.’s first time writing erotica. It was amazeballs. She has mastered it, and I absolutely can’t wait until the next installment of this series comes out in April.
If you like a little romance, a lot of foreplay, and some hot sex, you’ll love this book. Go get it when it comes out on April 1st; you’ll be happy you did.
Here is a little bit about the book:
My cock has an appetite.
A huge and very particular appetite: Blonde, curvy, and preferably not a fucking liar…(Although, that’s a story for another day.)
As a high profile lawyer, I don’t have time to waste on relationships, so I fulfill my needs by anonymously chatting and sleeping with women I meet online.
My rules are simple: One dinner. One night. No repeats.
This is only casual sex. Nothing more. Nothing less.
At least it was , until “Alyssa”…
She was supposed to be a 27-year-old lawyer, a book hoarder, and completely unattractive. She was supposed to be someone I shared law advice with late at night, someone I could trust with details of my weekly escapades.
But then she came into my firm for an interview–a college-intern interview, and everything fucking changed…
And here are a few more thoughts on Reasonable Doubt (Vol. 1):
Alyssa: I totally got her. “Lawyer” by day and ballet dancer by night. Torn by the two and not able to choose one over the other, she was leading a double life. Who was she really? Was she meant to be a top notch lawyer like her parents or dance in the spotlight at The Grand Hall? At 27, she felt like no one got her especially her parents, but then she met Andrew Hamilton who quickly became her closest friend. She was clearly attracted to him and loved their dirty talk but was super hesitant to meet him face to face. Oh, and trust me you would too if you kept that big of a secret from the one guy who got you and got you off just from his voice.
Meet and Greet/Meet and ____: When those two finally did meet, it was electrifying. The sexual tension between them “was damn near palpable.” Just from a look, Alyssa was overheating. YES! YES! YES! And then he made that comment about the cherry, and I damn near exploded. During that scene, I kept singing “I want you to turn that cherry out! Turn that cherry out!” Wowzers! And when they finally got together………let’s just say you may need a cigarette afterward.
I gave this book 5 steamy bookworm stars. Trust me, you’ll love it!
P.S.S. I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.
