I’ve been going back and forth with my sissy about capsule wardrobes. For someone like me who is tight on space and needs to declutter her house, a capsule wardrobe is perfect. No more staring at your exploding closet like what am I going to wear because you have so many clothes and so little options. With a capsule wardrobe, all the parts are interchangeable. It forces you to reimagine your closet. Anywho, sissy and I have been trying to figure out this whole capsule wardrobe thing and determine what exactly would go in our spring wardrobe. Well, I think we came up with some great ideas, and every Friday this month, I’ll give you 5 or more things that we think should definitely go in your Spring Capsule Wardrobe. P.S. I’ll do one at every price range.
This week it’s all about the tops…
#1 A white t-shirt
Oh, how I love a white tee. I usually have a few in rotation because I hate when the armpits get yellow. I myself am a v-neck type of girl, but as you know they do come in a scoop neck.
#2 A graphic tee
Express yourself. Find something witty. Or create a shirt with your favorite catchphrase.
#3 A chambray Shirt
Let me just say that I am utterly in love with a denim shirt. Just like my white t-shirt, I like to have several in rotation. Different washes for different occassions. I especially love to wear a Canadian tuxedo any chance that I get.
#4 A sweatshirt
Now this sweatshirt can have graphics or just be a solid print. Your choice. P.S. My favorite sweatshirt is from Everlane. It’s so comfy.
#5 A striped shirt
P.S. I swear by striped shirts especially a navy and white striped shirt. I love them so much that I got them in multiple colors while I was preggo too! They are a must have for me.
#6 A button down shirt
A classic piece. I would opt for a white button down since it goes with everything, but honestly, you could go with whatever color you desire. It’s your wardrobe.
#7 A camisole or tank
Great piece to layer with on any day.
