Happy Happy Happy Happy New Year to you and you too!

I made a promise to myself that I would do better this year with nurturing myself, having an abundance of love, good times, and positive vibes, surrounding myself with my loved ones, and living with intentions. I fell short on this in 2019, but I refuse to dwell on the past.
“We can’t create a e a new future while we’re living in our past. It’s simply impossible.”
Joe Dispenza, You Are the Placebo: Making Your Mind Matter (Thank you to Natalie Bacon for this quote)
The Past
Long story short story, I’ve decided this year will be better than last year and know that good things are coming. After two accidents in 2 weeks, a totaled car (still need to get one), undergoing a reorg at my job, allowing the bad times to outweigh the good times, focusing on the negative, and feeling overwhelmed and anxious all year, I’ve decided that enough was enough. It’s time I work on myself. If I don’t feel complete, how can I be happy, how can I be a good wife, how can I be the best mom. It’s simple; I cannot. I need to remember that “before I am anything for anyone else I am everything for myself.” (The I Am Show)
The Present
So to be honest, I’m going to be a little selfish this year and live a life of intention. I’m intentionally going to create a life that brings me nothing but joy.
SO….I know what you are thinking what does that really mean. For me, it means meditating every night, speaking affirmations, changing my diet and lifestyle, paying off my debt, following through on my three book ideas, and spending quality time with myself, my husband, my kids, family, and friends.
The Future
This year, I did both a physical and digital vision board. Here’s the link! I haven’t done a physical vision board in a long time. This year I felt inspired to do a physical one that I can look at every morning and night. I did a digital board so that I can see it when I’m away from home and in need of a little inspiration. Both boards focus on these 7 categories: love, wealth, health, affirmations, self-care, home, and just because. And honestly, it wasn’t that hard. I just picked phrases and pictures that spoke to me and made me smile. So my vision is complete for 2020, and to be corny, I have 20/20 vision. LOL!

And I saw somewhere that you should write your intentions down in the present tense and read it every night before you sleep. And I did just that.
- I am writing my romance and children’s book.
- I am debt free.
- I am mentally, physically, and spiritually happy.
- I am writing once a week on my blog.
- I am spending quality time with my kids and hubby each day.
I thought I would share 5 with you and encourage you to do the same….
